HEALTH BENEFITS OF CACAO
We are not used to hear that delicious goodies can actually be healthy. Fortunately, Cacao (main ingredient of Chocolate) is an exception to thar rule! Cacao is actually a great source of nutrition and is linked to several health benefits.
Cacao beans have many nutrients and depending on how they are processed those nutrients can remain in different proportions, so not all chocolate products provide the same benefits. Added fats and sugars can defuse the health effects, and that is why in Allegretto we thrive to use pure ingredients so we can get as much nutrition from the fine cacao beans.
